A healthy, green lawn never goes out of style. They are the type of lawns that owners are proud of and neighbors envy. If you want this type of lawn, then you have come to the right place! In our last blog, our lawn care service providers in Newnan went over a few tips on how to get a green lawn, but we ran out of time! If you have been dying to hear the rest of these tips then you are in luck! The following is a list of the last few tips on getting a green lawn:
- Water your lawn deeply! This means that you should water one inch for every twelve inches of soil. If you water this way, you only need to water once every three days. This is a great way to encourage your grass’s roots to grow deeper.
- Take care of disease, pests and weeds as they come up. All of these things can lead to unhealthy lawns, so it is important to watch out for them regularly. If you do notice them, take care of them immediately! The longer you wait, the more expensive and time consuming they will be to fix, and your lawn will start to suffer.
- Don’t water during the hottest part of the day, because a percentage of that water will just get evaporated into the air. Instead, you should water when it is cooler out, like early in the morning or as the sun is setting in the evening.
Though these tips are a great general guideline, no two lawns are exactly the same. Each lawn has its own specific needs, which is why it is a good idea to give us a call today for your free lawn care analysis!
